RIKAMEEK
Rikameek, written by Amol Devidas Salve, follows the story of Bhujang and Lakshmi, a newlywed couple who settle into their rented home. As they adjust to married life, they share moments of affection, humour, and deep conversations about their dreams and fears. Both aspire to secure government jobs, hoping for a stable future, but face setbacks that test their resilience. The play highlights social issues like caste discrimination, financial struggles, and gender roles, portraying the challenges and support within their partnership. Through its realistic and warm portrayal, Rikameek captures the strength of love amid societal pressures.

Acting Workshop by Sapan Saran
Understanding two approaches to acting: devising and text-based performance.
There isn't just one way to make theatre.
Devising and text-based theatre are two distinct approaches, each with its own process, challenges, and skill set with plenty to learn from both.
Explore text analysis, subtext, motivations, voice work, physicality, and character building, as well as improvisation, collaboration, spontaneity, structuring, editing, and vocal and physical awareness.
Dive into these two worlds, in order to understand what each has to offer to an actor.

YOUR PLAY
If you think you’ve got a story that deserves the spotlight, what are you waiting for?
Theatre groups from across India are invited to register their plays for the festival, taking place 7–13 December. Whether it’s an original work, an adaptation(just make sure you got the rights), or a classic turned completely wacky, we want it all. Plays can be in any language and from any part of the world.
Only two rules:

Performance duration must be minimum 60 minutes.

All team members should be 25 years or under (except the writer and the producer).
Whether you’re coming with a whole script, the outline of an idea, or just your love for theatre, you never know who you’ll meet! After all, we’re doing it for the drama!
