Thespo Fellowship 2024-25

If you are 25 years of age or under i.e. born in 1998 or after, and want to experience of how a theatre festival is organised, then this one is for you!

Read below what a fellow does, and what the eligibility criteria:

WHAT DOES A FELLOW DO?

As a Fellow, you will take on different roles. You will be responsible for one or more of the following:

Ideating and running initiatives to build a young theatre community in India and overseas
Meeting and networking with emerging artists to organise training and performance opportunities
Managing the selection process for the performances at the annual festival
Marketing, publicity and social media to build our audiences as well as build the Thespo brand
Taking the initiative to fundraise for the movement and get suitable sponsors and partners
Exploring various collaborative opportunities with theatre makers from India and other countries
Managing the festival and other Thespo initiatives throughout the year
Managing administrative departments of Thespo

WHAT ARE THE ATTRIBUTES/ QUALIFICATIONS
OF A FELLOW?

PLEASE NOTE, YOU DO NOT NEED ANY PRIOR THEATRE EXPERIENCE WHILE APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION.

Is born on or after 1 January 1998.
Demonstrates communication skills.
Has the ability to work with initiative - individually and as part of a team.
Has basic organisational skills and pays attention to detail.
Is positive, enthusiastic and has a flexible approach to work
Is well versed with basic skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE BY 31st JAN

ROUND 1: 1 FEB 2024 - 10 FEB, 2024.
(If you are shortlisted for the 2nd round of interviews, you will be expected to complete a competency test)
ROUND 2 Interviews: 12 FEB, 2024 - 18 FEB, 2024.
ROUND 3 Interviews: 19 FEB, 2024 - 28 FEB, 2024.

If you are selected for the fellowship, you will be informed by 10th March.
