THE FIRST CALL
Of course, we have every intention of getting the festival going with a bang.
The first call takes place at Prithvi Theatre on 20th July, the opening note to Thespo 28: Do it for the Drama. It’s a space where you can meet other young theatremakers, network, collaborate, form teams for your productions, exchange ideas, and get your very first taste of what Thespo is all about.

If you think you’ve got a story that deserves the spotlight, what are you waiting for?
Theatre groups from across India are invited to register their plays for the festival, taking place 7–13 December. Whether it’s an original work, an adaptation(just make sure you got the rights), or a classic turned completely wacky, we want it all. Plays can be in any language and from any part of the world.
Only two rules:

Performance duration must be minimum 60 minutes.

All team members should be 25 years or under (except the writer and the producer).
Whether you’re coming with a whole script, the outline of an idea, or just your love for theatre, you never know who you’ll meet! After all, we’re doing it for the drama!
